If you are planning to get married and live in the parish of St Peter's then you are required by law to have your banns read at St Peter's - even if you are getting married elsewhere.  Banns are read within the three months preceding the wedding.

The cost of this is £34 and you will be issued with a certificate that proves it's all legal!
